Girish a careleaver himself, experienced the challenges of survival after leaving his child home & started helping other Careleavers during Covid with his small income of Rs.8000 He did this through a whatsapp group he created which had about 80 Careleavers.

​2021: Formation of Careleavers Inner Circle: Girish brought together a team of careleavers to start a formal organization solving the problem “By the Careleavers, For the Careleavers”. Professional team of Social Impact platform, www.Josh.Community became the first corporate mentors & sponsors.

2022: UNICEF joins in. CLiC set up office at MIIC, Jaipur & started connecting with child care homes across Rajasthan and made focussed efforts to trace Careleavers. Result: First time ever, A Technology enabled verified database of Careleavers started taking shape. Anisha joined Girish as a co-founder to take care of the Girl Careleavers’ challenges​.

2023: Careleavers family grows in Rajasthan. 80+ Child Care homes connected & 750+ careleavers joined, 150+ Inner Circle Cards issued. CLiC became part of Nudge incubation Cohort, 2023, Bengaluru. Anisha got “Emerging Director Award” in the Social Impact sector​.

2024: Historical Moment for Careleavers – Government paves the path for future by solving the Identity & address proof problem after a meeting with Hon’ble Minister Smt. Smriti Irani, Ministry of Women & Child Development. Central order issued to the states to develop verified database & provide Aftercare services.​
